Whitby 42 Priced to Sell Quickly - $49,000 USD
Owner's death forces sale. This is a 1981 Whitby 42 Ketch that completed a Pacific Crossing in 2014. Owner was an engineer, and the boat is well-equipped for round-the-world cruising.
The boat is currently stored at a nice well-run marina in the Philippines, where good skilled workers can be had for $11 USD per day.
The boat needs mostly cosmetic work. It will not last on the market for long at this price.
Note: above picture of Challenger was taken several years ago. Boat has been stored out of the water for 2 years, so we have no recent in-water or sailing pictures.
